The company Georgios Papageorgiou was founded in Thessaloniki in 1955, primarily engaged in the production of barbed wire and the manufacturing of fences.
1955Takes the son Miltiades Papageorgiou
In 1978, after its founder's retirement, the company was taken over by his son, Miltiadis Papageorgiou, who, buying and constructing modern barbed wire machines, expanded the company's production and sales in Greece and abroad by increasing the range of its products.

In 2006, after his son, Georgios Papageorgiou, joined the business, this was transferred to 7,000sqm private premises in the Sindos region of Thessaloniki. A branch also operates in the centre of Thessaloniki, at 116, 26is Oktovriou street (Port).

In 2010, the company expanded its range with the manufacturing of razor wire.
